Do I have to become a STT Hyperion member to play tabletennis?
No, the trainings on Wednesday are open for everyone with a Sports Center membership. However, if you want to play competition matches (within Tilburg area) or regularly join our tournaments and/or other fun events you will have to become an STT Hyperion member.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
During the practices and/or tournaments in the Sports Center all material is provided (you are welcome to bring your own racket if you wish). During competition matches you will have to bring your own racket.
Do I have to drink alcohol?
No, although some of our activities will primarily focus on alcohol there will always be alcohol free options. Besides we have enough fun activities that don’t require alcohol at all!
Are international students welcome?
Yes of course! Currently around 40% of our members are non-Dutch and all our communications are in English!
Do I have to be a student to become a member?
We are a student association and most of our members are affiliated with Tilburg University, Fontys or Avans, however, this is not necessarily a requirement. In that case please contact our board.
